SUMMARY:Red\, White & Blue Opening Reception
DESCRIPTION:Organizer: Chicago Lesbian Brunch Group\n\nLocation: Coffee Pot\n\nAddress: 2725 S. Archer Ave.\, Chicago\, IL 60608\n\nDescription: Tired of hanging out in bars? Come to this opening reception for some coffee and passionate discussion of art\, history and struggles of the American people. \n\nFour Chicago artists come together to showcase their works using various media: photography\, textiles\, sculpture and canvas. \n\nThe exhibit will include black and white as well as color photographs by one of our members Nicole F. Picinich. She has been very passionate about photography for more than 15 years. Over the past two years\, she documented events and places that had profound impact on the American people and maybe herself. Included in this exhibition are photographs from the Immigration March\, the New Orleans and Parkview Elementary School after Katrina. All photographs on exhibit were taken by a Canon AE-1 35 mm camera and hand printed. This is her first entry into the art world. She has just joined the softball team. \n\nLet's show our support and celebrate with her at the Opening Reception! \n\nFor a preview of her photos\, please visit http://www.chicagoshutter.com
