SUMMARY:Reeling: Healed
DESCRIPTION:Lesbian film icon Guinevere Turner stars in this wild ride of a film that takes one surprising turn after another. When a celebrity couple attends a wellness retreat\, they discover they're the guinea pigs in a life-changing experiment. Former pop icon Jazz Powers and her pregnant wife\, users of an app developed by the retreat's founder\, arrive at the intimate meditation retreat intending to relax and de-stress. However\, they soon realize that things are not as they seem. Jazz grows skeptical and raises the alarm\, but her wife plunges deeper into a relationship with the retreat's founder\, causing a rift in their relationship. Canadian filmmaker Meghan Weinsteinâ??s HEALED tackles the timely themes of distrust of digital privacy and guru-fronted wellness brands. The film also stars Emily Gross and Todd Lowe.
