SUMMARY:Reeling: T Blockers
DESCRIPTION:T BLOCKERS follows a young trans girl named Sophie who splits her time between indie filmmaking\, getting fucked up with her friend Spencer\, working at a movie theater\, and navigating the treacherous dating world. When Sophie and her friends rediscover a DIY horror film from the 90s made by another trans filmmaker\, they notice the events of the film seem to be occurring again around them as men are taken over by a worm parasite that spreads bigotry. The only one who can sense the evil\, Sophie must band together with a group of other queer youths to prevent the parasite from overwhelming the world. Made by then-17-year-old Australian trans filmmaker Alice Maio Mackay\, T BLOCKERS is her third feature\, and now at 18-year old sheâ??s working on her fifth.
