SUMMARY:The Astronaut Lovers
DESCRIPTION:This honest\, fresh take on modern-day sexual fluidity captures the reuniting of old friends Pedro and Maxi during a beach vacation. As they spend their holiday endlessly pondering every aspect of each other's sexuality\, their playful game of pretending to be a couple tests their friendship and desires. Beautifully lensed and reminiscent of Andrew Haigh’s WEEKEND\, the film navigates the complexities of love and connection with naturalistic acting\, stunning locations\, and a smart script. THE ASTRONAUT LOVER offers a nuanced\, often hilarious\, always on edge\, and original exploration of the line between gay and straight.
