SUMMARY:A Cheap Film
DESCRIPTION:A uniquely inventive Spanish dramedy that binds together two listless young souls in an adventure that uplifts and surprises. Fede\, an introspective gay man uninterested in social life\, reconnects with Iván\, a quirky childhood friend. Their reunion sparks a series of chaotic and poetic events\, from visits to a tarot reader and wild accusations to confronting blocked traumatic memories and reconnecting with a controlling ex. Director Osama Chami skillfully incorporates transitions from old black-and-white classics and horror films\, offering a playful homage to queer-coded cinematic history. As the story escalates into surrealism\, it culminates in a triumphant and heartwarming finale. Featuring striking performances and a storyline filled with unexpected twists\, A CHEAP FILM is a cinematic adventure that is both fun and moving.
