SUMMARY:Queer Joy - Shorts Program
DESCRIPTION:Building a chosen family and community\, supporting one another\, and coming out: a selection of shorts dedicated to queer joy. HUSTLEWEEN explores vibrant community and Black trans euphoria through chronicling an annual celebration created by EspicyNipples. WE’LL GO DOWN IN HISTORY is the story of TRUK United\, a grassroots\, proudly trans football club. Armed with nothing but peer pressure and gay panic\, Sam decides to talk to her crush\, Dana\, in BOOK CUTE. Rhys\, a dedicated people pleaser\, winds up at their boss’s gender reveal party with their two partners\, a trans throuple\, in GENDER REVEAL. On her long-awaited debut night at the best drag show of Artemisa\, Elizabeth de Victória will find that shining isn’t as easy as she imagined in BABYLONIA.
