SUMMARY:Montreal\, My Beautiful
DESCRIPTION:Acclaimed actress Joan Chen (THE LAST EMPEROR\, TWIN PEAKS) gives a magnificent performance as Feng Xia\, a 53-year-old Chinese immigrant in Montreal whose life has been defined by duty to family\, culture\, and a loveless marriage. When she meets the free-spirited Camille\, Feng embarks on a long-overdue journey of self-discovery through a forbidden love that forces her to confront identity and the cost of liberation. Set against a vibrant Montreal summer\, this moving drama celebrates the courage to live authentically and passionately communicates that it is never too late to pursue youthful joy.
