Held in commemoration of National HIV Testing Day, Make a Statement: Design for the cure is the signature event of the Junior Board of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago . The annual event showcases the talents, passions, and resources of the Chicago Fashion Community as weapons in the fight against the HIV/AIDS and aims to raise awareness among Chicagoans ages 21-35, a group disproportionately affected by the epidemic.
