Smile! You Have Depression

Does no one understand you? You have depression. Do you worry about the economy? You have depression. Does the sun seem to set every day? You clearly have depression. “Smile! You Have Depression” attacks the illness the whole world is cozying up to. From its early manifestations to the way it ruins relationships to the wacky cures promised by the Church of Scientology, this show forces much-needed sunlight on an otherwise gloomy subject. Join the cast of six as they portray their way in and out of characters and scenarios beget or bedazzled by depression. The neurotransmitters are a’firin’ in this revue directed by Todd Edwards and written by GayCo Productions Artistic Associate Homer Marrs, who also performs. Rounding out the cast is Mary Lorenz, Jamie Newland, Jay Austin Sukow, Stephanie Weber and Thomas Whittington. The stage manager is Noah Ginex.
