LGBT Faith Conversation

This group will use a variety of resources—articles, guest speakers, personal sharing, short documentaries and more from a variety of disciplines (psychology, religion, theology, science, sociology, etc)—to help LGBTQ people reflect on their spiritual journeys. This group is a joint collaboration of The Center on Halsted and Urban Village Church Chicago and will meet every Monday evening from 7-8:30 pm from 1/25-3/1. Our hope is to a space for people together to reflect on their lives and discern steps for future and deeper faith exploration. The starting point is not an idea or verse from scripture, but people’s experience. This is where the faith journey begins, or begins again. No advance reading or preparation required. People from all or no religious traditions and communities of faith are welcome. Just bring yourself.
