Suffocating. Too crowded.

I'm a guy, but this is one of my favorite bars. Pretty good music, but it's not loud at all so you can actually have a conversation. The bartenders are cute and friendly, and I've gotten free drinks from them a few times. It's also nice to play a cheap game of darts before it gets really crowded. The only problem is, for a guy it's kind of hard to meet another guy, because most aren't looking. Doesn't bother me though, I just go for a good time with my lez friends.

Those Lesbians know how to have a great time and pour one stiff drink!

Are all the reviews I have been reading the same Closet that on my visits is far from friendly to guys and has some of the worst service unless you are a lesbian. Also one of the worst pours of Vodka for the amount they charge.

I love the staff! They are really nice and try hard to keep the Lesbian clientele happy. However, its obvious that its getting harder to do so. My main concern is that the last few times I was in Closet there were tons of straight couples and groups of straight girls. Why cant we have JUST ONE bar in Lakeview to go to??..I dont get it. Straighty's! Go someplace else - quit staring at us like we are on display for your messed up amusement! Its really annoying.

Love it! Karaoke on Thursday nights is awesome! You can also catch a ballgame while they play the videos. That's nice. Pretty blonde bartender during the days is always warm/ entertaining. I never feel alone when I'm at The Closet.
