Interviews and voices
Film/Movie interviews from GoPride's conversations with artists, creators and community voices.
Jack Curtis Dubowsky
“The world has changed, but there was a time when the people doing the most interesting stuff were in what you'd call high-risk groups.”
J.J. Abrams
“I think that the lucky situation for Bad Robot has been working with really wonderful people who are great show runners and storytellers.”
Desmond Child
“We also made the film as a love letter to our kids.”
Sean Paul Lockhart
“I used much of my background, the relationships in my past, and the way I feel about certain people to arrive at a genuine performance when making Caleb a real, whole person on camera.”
Brent Corrigan
“Brent Corrigan is still the breadwinner. He's a lot more patient and a lot more smiley than Sean.”
Michael Kutza
“If I look at some of the films today, including Brokeback Mountain, doesn't the gay hero die at the end?”
Margaret Cho
“I never got permission! I've been making fun of my mom since I was a really young kid.”
Noam Ash
“We definitely played with these elements and sprinkle in a little homo-eroticism here and there...”
Jill Soloway
“I feel like I come from a queer family. I feel like I am a queer artist, like I've always been sort of queer adjacent.”
Julia Stiles
“In terms of technically it’s really not that different. We use very professional crews and good production value and the cameras are pretty sophisticated, but creatively it’s different.”
Quinton Aaron
“I used to get chased by older kids that had brothers that were gang members. I was scared of what they could do to me.”
Jason Knade
“It’s a powerful moment for me, one that transcends gender and sexuality and really speaks to the universal human emotions of desire, connection, rejection, and the emotional bravery that’s required...”
Sean Paul Lockhart
“Oddly enough, I didn't realize just how much of an exhibitionist I was until I left the adult industry.”

David Pevsner
“I've had my dark void-y times and it made me see him as more than just a mean, cranky antagonist.”
Patrik-Ian Polk
“I think there's something to be said about the technology limiting or affecting our ability to communicate in actual live, real-time, face-to-face, and that's not the best thing.”
David France
