About this event
REALLY HAPPY SOMEDAY captures the profound journey of transitioning by showing both what can be lost and the incomparable, beautiful new life that starts afterwards. Z, a trans man with a passion for musical theater, finds his dream evolving as his voice weathers changes after starting testosterone. He has always wanted this for himself but questions if it will cost him his aspiration to perform on the big stage. Desperate to make a livelihood in the arts, Z begins taking lessons from a kind-hearted vocal coach, forcing him to open up and be truly vulnerable. As he struggles through classes and shifts in his relationship, he learns how to stay true to himself.
