About this event

Test Positive Aware Network (TPAN) will host its Committed to Living continuing HIV education series on Wednesday, November 5 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at TPAN, located at 5537 N. Broadway. Nutritionist Shelley Scott will present the November forum—Diabetes, Diet and Nutrition—and will discuss how to shop, plan and create healthy meals for people affected by diabetes and how to prevent it. RSVP to the TPAN receptionist by calling (773) 989-9400. Also in November, TPAN's 37th Treatment Education Advocacy Management (TEAM) program will take place November 10-14, each day from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the TPAN offices. TEAM is a rubric of several programs that provide peer-led education in HIV treatment and prevention and seeks to promote wellness and health outcomes in different modalities and for different targeted populations. To register, contact TPAN's TEAM Manager Derek Worley at d.worley@tpan.com or call (773) 989-9400 ext. 234. Funding for these programs is provided by the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Pfizer Foundation.
