Lamda Legal's Bon Foster Celebration

Lamda Legal's Bon Foster Celebration. Celebrate another year of Lambda Legal's extraordinary work with an evening of food, drinks, friends, and live music. Join us for a historic celebration! The 2009 Bon Foster reception promises an inspirational evening against a backdrop of a special Chicago History Museum exhibition commemorating the 200th anniversary of Lincoln’s birth. Lambda Legal’s groundbreaking legal work, from our marriage equality case in Iowa to co-counseling the challenge to the validity of Prop 8 in California, is a driving force in our movement’s push for full equality. Lambda Legal has and continues to build up laws and policies that protect and promote our full civil rights, building a foundation brick by brick. Recognizing this historic moment, the Bon Foster Address will mark the advances we have made in our civil rights struggle and dedicate ourselves to the great task remaining before us – a new birth of freedom for all Americans.
