Centre East presents seven-time Emmy Award-winner Ed Asner as “FDR.” This one-man show takes the audience through FDR’s historic White House years including the Depression, the steps leading up to WWII and the war years, and shows why this President, known as “that man in the White House,” was scorned by many and admired by most. “FDR” is based on Dory Schary’s Broadway hit “Sunrise at Campobello,” which ran for 70 weeks on Broadway and garnered four Tony Awards. Immediately following the Oct. 2 performance, all audience members are invited to Centre East’s complimentary 30th Anniversary Celebration reception in the lobby.
